Renault ADZ

The Renault ADZ was a light utility vehicle produced by the French maker Renault in the 1930s. The Renault commercial vehicles of 1936 adopted the style of Renault cars, with a curved cab, a slanted V-shaped grille extending under the bonnet and horizontal slots on the sides of the engine compartment. With a payload of 800 kg, the ADZ replaced the older Renault KZ in its utility version. Like the ACZ and ADK of the same range, it has a four-cylinder in-line petrol engine of 2.38 litres with the code name 85, which was used on Renault light utility vehicles until the 1950s, giving 48 hp at 3,000 rpm, with a single-plate manual clutch and three forward gears and one reverse. The ADZ1 and ADZ2, with left-hand and right-hand drive respectively, were produced in 1936 and 1937.
