The Renault ADV was a light commercial vehicle that Renault made in the late 1930s. Presented to the Mines authority on 24 January 1936, it was a van version of the Celtaquatre car and kept that car's chassis, front body and four-cylinder petrol engine, which gave 30 horsepower at first and 34 from 1937. It had a payload of half a tonne, a wheelbase of 2,660 millimetres, a three-speed manual gearbox and a turning circle under 5 metres, and it replaced the commercial version of the Monaquatre. It sold in France at 17,000 francs, below the Citroën equivalent. A right-hand-drive ADV2 Ltd served the United Kingdom market. The ADV1 and ADV2 were built from 1936 to 1938 and the ADV3 in 1939, with 4,980 ADV1 made in all.
