The Mazda Familia Van, also called the Mazda Familia Wagon, is a light commercial vehicle sold by Mazda that, despite sharing its name with the Familia, is not manufactured by Mazda but is a badge-engineered variant of a vehicle from another manufacturer. From 1994 to 2018 the Familia Wagon and Van was based on the Nissan AD wagon. In June 2018, after Mazda and Toyota started an alliance, Mazda transferred the Familia Van name to the Toyota Probox. The van is therefore a case where a long-standing Mazda nameplate moved from one supplier to another, and its production history belongs to Nissan first and then Toyota rather than to Mazda's own factories.
