The Maxus eDeliver 5 is an all electric medium sized panel van from Maxus, the brand of SAIC Motor, and the middle model of the maker's electric van range. It was revealed at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham and imported into the United Kingdom by Harris Maxus. Its 64 kWh battery gives a range of 208 miles on the WLTP combined cycle, and a 120 kW motor produces 240 Nm of torque. Payload is up to 1,200 kg, and the load volume runs from 6.6 to 7.6 cubic metres depending on one of two roof heights. The report puts the starting price at 34,000 pounds, with production starting at parent company SAIC production facilities in China and the first vans due to arrive in time for the September plate change. It joins the eDeliver 3 compact van, the eDeliver 7 mid size van and the eDeliver 9 large van, so the maker now covers small to large.
