The Dodge Ram Van, originally the Dodge B series, was a range of full-size vans that Chrysler Corporation produced from the 1971 to the 2003 model years. The B series replaced the forward-control A100 with a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout that shared components with the D series pickup and had a conventional hood for engine access. The range consisted of a cargo van, a passenger van marketed as the Ram Wagon after the Ram name arrived for the 1980 model year, and a cutaway van chassis that was dropped in 1979. With a 33-model-year run it is among the longest-lived platforms in American automotive history.
