1970 Triumph Toledo

Automobiles

The Toledo was introduced in August 1970 as a cheaper version of the Triumph 1300, which was at the same time replaced by the Triumph 1500. It was a compact car from the Rover Triumph division of British Leyland, a two door saloon at first, with rear wheel drive, in contrast to the front wheel drive 1300 from which it was derived and re-engineered. It replaced the Triumph 1300 in the range. It was introduced in August 1970.
