Triumph 2000 and 2500 (Mark 1)

Automobiles

The Mark 1 was presented to the public at the London Motor Show in October 1963, and volume sales began in January 1964. Continuing in production until 1969, this version came in saloon and, from 1965, estate forms. Various minor improvements were made during the period, most noteworthy a significant upgrade in October 1966 to the previously rather ineffective ventilation. In October 1968 the 2.5 PI Mark 1 was launched, fitted with a Lucas mechanical fuel injection system. Its model years run from 1963 to 1969.
