1966 Triumph 2000 and 2500

Automobiles

A significant upgrade in October 1966 to the previously rather ineffective ventilation of the Triumph 2000 added eyeball vents in the centre of the facia, with the heater controls repositioned beneath them. The Mark 1 came in saloon form and, from 1965, in estate form, and continued in production until 1969. The 2000 of 1966 was produced by the Triumph Motor Company at Coventry. The estate had been added in 1965.
