The SAIC Rising R7, also known as the Feifan R7, is a battery electric mid-size crossover SUV from SAIC Motor's Rising Auto brand. It was announced in 2021, previewed by the ES33 concept shown at the April 2021 Shanghai show, and went on sale in 2022. The five-door, five-seat body has a sloping coupe-style roofline and a stated drag coefficient of 0.238. The top version has two electric motors, and the car is offered with a swappable battery as well as in versions without one, with a stated range of 600 km for the swappable ternary battery. The interior has a 43-inch triple screen arrangement, a Huawei augmented reality head-up display and an optional Luminar lidar. A facelift arrived for the 2025 model year, and MG showed the car at the 2024 Geneva International Motor Show as the MG S9 EV.
