Peugeot 2008

The Peugeot 2008 is a subcompact SUV in the B-segment from the French automaker Peugeot, unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and positioned below the 3008. The first 2008 replaced the 207 SW, because Peugeot did not release a station wagon version of its 208. The first generation, codenamed A94, is based on the PF1 platform and shares electronic components with the 208, and its mass production was the first product of the Peugeot joint venture with IKCO named IKAP. It was revised in 2016, produced in Porto Real in Brazil from March 2015 and exported to Mercosur countries, and Brazilian production ended in November 2023 when the second generation replaced it. Peugeot announced the second generation, code P24, on 19 June 2019 on the Common Modular Platform shared with the second generation 208 and the Opel Corsa F, with petrol and diesel engines and an electric e-2008 whose 115 kW motor and 54 kWh battery give a range of 406 km since the 2023 facelift.
