The Mitsubishi Airtrek is a battery-electric compact crossover SUV built from 2021 to 2023 by GAC Mitsubishi, the Chinese joint venture of Guangzhou Automobile Corporation and Mitsubishi Motors. It was previewed as a namesake concept at Auto Shanghai in April 2021 and revealed at Auto Guangzhou in November 2021, sharing the Aion V platform and offering Level 2 semi-autonomous driving using nine radars and cameras. A 70 kWh lithium-ion battery fed a 135 kW electric motor with a claimed CLTC range of 520 km, and the low battery position gave a 50:50 weight distribution. It went on sale only in China in early 2022. Mitsubishi ended vehicle production in China in September 2023, closing the model's run.
