The Jeep Grand Commander, project code K8, was a mid-size three-row crossover SUV that Jeep built through the GAC Fiat Chrysler joint venture in China from 2018 to 2022. It was positioned above the locally made KL Cherokee compact crossover and debuted with a 2.0 litre turbocharged inline four making 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Despite its name and appearance it was not sold as the successor to the 2006 to 2010 XK Commander in North America and is unrelated to the Commander built in Brazil and India. After Stellantis announced its withdrawal from the joint venture in July 2022, Jeep phased out its local manufacturing in China.
