Isuzu MU-X

Automobiles

The Isuzu MU-X is a mid-size SUV from Isuzu, a body-on-frame vehicle based on the D-Max pickup and the successor to the MU-7. Its name stands for Multi Utility eXtreme. The first generation had its world premiere in Thailand on 31 October 2013 and went on sale on 6 November 2013, a product of the collaboration between General Motors and Isuzu that shares its platform with the Chevrolet Trailblazer and Holden Colorado. It reached Australia in December 2013 and has since been sold in markets including Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, China and India, though not in Japan. The second generation launched in Australia on 30 July 2021 and in Indonesia in November 2021 with turbocharged diesel engines, and a 2.2 litre diesel replaced the 1.9 litre option in September 2025.
