The IM LS9 is a range-extended full-size luxury SUV produced by SAIC Motor under the IM Motors brand, and the brand's first model offered only with a range extender and its flagship. It was first shown at the China International Industry Fair on 23 September 2025 with no prior announcement, and officially launched on 12 November 2025 after the debut was moved from 4 November. The front end resembles the facelifted LS6, with full-width light bars, retractable door handles and a four wheel steering system that turns the rear wheels up to 24 degrees. The total output is 390 kW from a 160 kW front motor and a 230 kW rear motor, while a 1.5 litre turbocharged petrol engine acts as a generator not connected to the wheels, with a 65.9 kWh CATL battery. The LS9 Hyper, unveiled on 28 January 2026, uses three motors for 550 kW.
