The IM LS8 is a range-extended and battery electric full-size luxury SUV produced by SAIC Motor under the IM Motors brand. It was revealed through MIIT filings on 9 December 2025, and sales began on 16 April 2026, with pre-sales of the battery electric version opening on 29 October 2026 for sales from 5 November 2026. It uses the extended-range hybrid system also found in the LS6 and LS9 and shares design traits with them, such as the T-shaped headlights and the raised rear light bar. It has double wishbone front and multilink rear suspension with single-chamber air suspension, and rear wheel steering of up to 24 degrees giving a 4.85 metre turning radius, with an optional steer-by-wire system that is standard on electric models. The interior has a 27.1 inch central screen, an 18 speaker Bang and Olufsen audio system and a refrigerated compartment, and the IM AD driver assistance system uses a roof LiDAR and an Nvidia Thor-U chip.
