The Flex was Ford's boxy, three row full size crossover, sold in a single generation for the 2009 to 2019 model years as the successor to the Taurus X. It grew out of the 2005 Fairlane concept, was built in Ontario beside the Edge and the Lincoln MKX, and had the Lincoln MKT as a rebadged variant. It offered six or seven passenger seating and a twin turbo EcoBoost V6 on all wheel drive versions.
