Fangchengbao Tai 3

Automobiles

The Fangchengbao Tai 3 is a battery electric compact crossover SUV that BYD Auto makes under its Fangchengbao brand. It is the brand's first battery electric vehicle and the first of its Tai line, named for titanium, because the earlier Fangchengbao models in the Bao line are plug-in hybrids. BYD showed its design as the Fangchengbao Super 3 concept at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2024, pre-orders opened on 31 March 2025 and the model went on sale in April 2025. It comes in five versions, two rear-wheel drive called Pro and Max and three four-wheel drive. The top version carries a roof-mounted DJI drone hangar called Lingyuan, a head-up display, a refrigerator and Devialet audio, and all versions use the God's Eye C driver assistance system, while an iTAC torque control system and iATS terrain recognition handle off-road driving modes.
