Roewe 350

Automobiles

The Roewe 350 is a small family car, or compact car, built by Roewe in China from 2010 to 2015 and sold internationally as the MG 350. Codenamed AP11, it shares its platform with the MG 5 hatchback that entered production in 2011. It debuted as the Roewe N1 concept at the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show and was officially launched at the Beijing Auto Show in 2010 with a SAIC developed 1.5 litre engine producing 146 hp, while a 2.0 litre turbo of 247 hp was offered only in the Middle East and China. It was built at a former Nanjing Automobile production base in Pukou. The MG 350 sold in Europe was described as the first production car in the world with an Android operating system and 3G internet access. The design began as the B100 project of Ssangyong Motor, and SAIC developed the Roewe 350 as its production version, which never launched in the Korean market.
