The Jaguar XE (X760) was a compact executive car made by Jaguar Land Rover and sold under the Jaguar marque from April 2015 until mid-2024, across a single generation. A four-door saloon with a front-mounted engine and rear or all-wheel drive, it replaced the X-Type, was styled by Ian Callum and was launched at the October 2014 Paris Motor Show. Its bonded and riveted aluminium monocoque and aluminium suspension built on work Jaguar had done for the X350 XJ, a first in its segment. It was the first Jaguar built at Solihull and the first user of the new 2.0 litre turbocharged Ingenium four-cylinder engine, offered in petrol and diesel forms. Production moved to Castle Bromwich in 2017, and a long-wheelbase XEL was built in Changshu for the Chinese market.
