The Five Hundred was Ford's tall full size sedan of the mid 2000s, built at Chicago on a platform adapted from Volvo, with high seating, a roomy cabin and front or all wheel drive. It was shown in 2004 beside the Mercury Montego and the Freestyle crossover. Sales fell short and it was renamed the Taurus for 2008. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (2005 to 2007).
