BYD Han L

Automobiles

The BYD Han L is a full-size sedan that BYD Auto has built since 2025 as part of the Han series, offered with battery electric and DM-i plug-in hybrid powertrains. It was first unveiled on 17 January 2025 alongside the related Tang L, with technical details and pre-orders following in March, and it is positioned and priced above the existing BYD Han, which stays on sale as the cheaper model. BYD calls the car a carrier of Chinese culture, and its Loong Face styling, phoenix-wing taillights and brushstroke-shaped D-pillars were developed under global design director Wolfgang Egger. The electric version uses the Super e-platform with a 945 volt architecture and a blade battery that can accept 1000 kilowatt charging, and the dual-motor car reaches 100 kilometres per hour in 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 305 kilometres per hour.
