The BYD Dahan, also sold in English as the Great Han, is a full-size four-door sedan from BYD Auto, offered as a battery electric car and as a plug-in hybrid. Production runs from 2026 onward. It was first teased in January 2026 as the Han 9, was officially revealed on 11 June 2026, and is BYD's first F-segment sedan. With the Datang SUV it sits at the top of the company's Dynasty range. It is built on the 1000-volt Super e-Platform with flash charging, rear-wheel steering and dual-chamber air suspension, and its sleek shape gives a drag coefficient of 0.197. The electric versions are quoted at up to 1,008 km of CLTC range and up to 764 hp, and a plug-in hybrid version is also offered.
