Rover P3 (Sixty and Seventy-Five) (Sixty and Seventy-Five)

Automobiles

For the postwar market Rover had a new engine, prepared since the late 1930s, with overhead inlet and side exhaust valves, made in a four cylinder version of 1595 cubic centimeters for the Sixty and a six cylinder one of 2103 cubic centimeters for the Seventy-Five. The body resembled the Rover 12 and 16 but many panels were new, and independent front suspension was a first for Rover. Two body styles were offered, a six light saloon and a four light sports saloon. Its model years run from 1948 to 1949.
