1948 Rover P3 (Sixty and Seventy-Five)

Automobiles

The Rover Sixty and Seventy-Five were announced in the middle of February 1948, and two months later the Land Rover was announced, a new vehicle for agriculture with the engine of the new Sixty. The cars were expensive, at 1,080 pounds for the Sixty and 1,106 pounds for the Seventy-Five, and because of early postwar production problems and material shortages they were never intended to be built in large numbers.
