In the northern hemisphere spring of 2004, Rover introduced a facelifted 75 featuring an entirely new front grille and bumper, with one piece headlights with halogen projectors. A V8 model had been announced at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, the first V8 engined Rover since the demise of the Rover SD1 in 1986. Production of all models ended in 2005 when MG Rover Group entered receivership. Its model years run from 2004 to 2005.
