In 2016 the Wraith was in its third year of production, a grand tourer built on the chassis of the Ghost sedan, which it shared with the Dawn convertible launched that year. The Wraith's 6.6 liter V12 engine produced 465 kW and the car shared its nameplate with the 1938 model by the original Rolls-Royce company, the first Wraith that Rolls-Royce had ever built. It was the year the Dawn went on sale.
