The Wraith was announced in January 2013 and unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and deliveries began from the fourth quarter of 2013. It was a full size ultra luxury grand tourer based on the chassis of the Ghost, with a two door pillarless coupe body with suicide doors, a body style that was most popular in cars of the 1950s and 1960s and had not been used by Rolls-Royce since 1955. It was a very large and heavy car.
