In 2007 Rolls-Royce first met its annual sales target of 1,000 vehicles, with 1,010 Phantoms sold, including 253 Drophead Coupe sales. The 3,000th car rolled out of the Goodwood factory in March 2007, and the first five Phantom Drophead Coupe convertibles were completed on 20 July 2007. The Drophead Coupe was a two door derivative of the Phantom launched that year. The cars were made at Goodwood, in West Sussex.
