1962 Rolls-Royce Phantom V

Automobiles

Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother acquired a Rolls-Royce Phantom V Landaulet, registration plate NLT 1, in 1962, which is now used by Charles III. The Phantom V of 1962 was a car with a low final drive ratio that allowed a walking speed which was suitable for ceremonies, and was favoured by royalty and heads of state as a result. The year was the fourth of the Phantom V, built by Rolls-Royce Limited. The royal family used these cars for many ceremonies.
