Two Phantom Vs built in 1960 and 1961 joined the British royal fleet of two earlier Rolls-Royce Phantom IVs, and were retired from active service in 2002. In 1960 Elton John's later pink car was built, a Park Ward that is the namesake of the Gorillaz song The Pink Phantom, and Liberace had a 1961 Phantom V which became part of his show at the Las Vegas Hilton. The Phantom V was built by Rolls-Royce Limited.
