The Series I Ghost ended in 2014, replaced by the Series II that was introduced at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The Ghost of 2009 to 2014 had been based on a platform shared with the F01 7 Series, with about 20 percent of the parts in common, and was designed to compete with cheaper cars than the Phantom. It had been built at Goodwood since 2009. The Series II was the first mid life update of the Ghost.
