The second generation Ghost in 2022 was in its second full year, with the illuminated grille, the Planar suspension and the Starlight headliner, and the extended wheelbase variant with an identical exterior design to the standard car. According to a statement by BMW AG, this generation of Ghost, with an internal combustion engine, is to be produced until 2030, when the company intends to manufacture electric models only. The Ghost had an identical exterior in the standard and extended versions.
