The Riley Kestrel four door saloon was introduced in September 1965 together with the Wolseley 1100, both mechanically similar to the MG 1100. The Riley Kestrel had three round dials including a rev counter in a wooden fascia, while the Wolseley had a strip speedometer. Both were offered with leather seats as standard. The Kestrel was one of several rebadged versions of the BMC ADO16 built from the Morris 1100 design.
