Riley 4/Seventy Two (4/Seventy Two)

Automobiles

The 4/Seventy Two had the engine enlarged to 1.6 liters, or 1622 cubic centimeters, and Riley again got the twin carburettor version with 68 horsepower. It used improved suspension with anti roll bars, and the wheelbase was one inch longer through moving the back axle rearwards, with the front track increased by two inches. Modifications a year later recambered the rear springs to improve ride and roadholding. Its model years run from 1961 to 1969.
