2008 Range Rover

Automobiles

In 2008 Tata Motors took over Land Rover, buying it from Ford on 2 June. The Range Rover L322 was by then in the middle of its Jaguar-engined years, from 2006 to 2009, with the 4.4-litre V8, the 4.2-litre supercharged V8 and the 3.6-litre TDV8, the ZF six-speed automatic gearbox, and electronics derived from Jaguar's, with fibre optics and Bluetooth, used from 2005 to 2009. The same arrangement of petrol and diesel V8 engines continued into 2009.
