The Evoque P300e plug-in hybrid joined the second-generation range, combining a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbocharged Ingenium petrol engine with an electric motor on the rear axle, giving a system output of 309 PS and a claimed electric-only range of up to 66 kilometres from a 15 kWh battery. In some countries a 1.5-litre three-cylinder P160 petrol engine without plug-in hybrid technology was also sold. The car is built on JLR's PTA platform at Halewood alongside the Discovery Sport.
