The 2019 Evoque was the first full year of the second generation, with door handles that retract into the body, smoother surfaces and a new infotainment system whose second touchscreen has built-in knobs for the climate settings. Its diesel engines were 150 horsepower with front-wheel drive and 180 and 240 with all-wheel drive, the petrols 200, 250 and 300. On 22 March 2019 a Chinese court found, after four years of sales, that Landwind had copied five distinctive design features of the old Evoque and ordered it to stop making and selling the X7 and pay compensation.
