1964 Rambler Classic

Automobiles

A new two door model joined the Classic line for 1964, a pillar less hardtop which offered a large glass area, and its sales were brisk. A sporty 770 H version featured individually adjustable reclining bucket seats, as well as a center console. The Typhoon was a mid 1964 model year introduction, a sporty variant of the Classic 770 two door hardtop, highlighting AMC's completely new short stroke, seven main bearing, 145 horsepower 232 cubic inch Typhoon modern era inline six. The E Stick was discontinued after 1964.
