The 1992 Ram was a first generation D and W series full size pickup, with a Club Cab reintroduced in 1990 and rear wheel anti lock brakes on all versions since 1991. These trucks sold poorly compared to the Ford F Series and the General Motors C and K trucks, with sales rarely breaking 100,000 units for most years of their production, as the Dodge Ram awaited the completely redesigned second generation that debuted in January 1993.
