Anti lock brakes were added as a standard feature in 1992 on the Trans Sport, which used a galvanized steel space frame like the Pontiac Fiero and the Saturn SL. For 1992 the European Trans Sport introduced American style composite headlamp housings. For 1994 traction control was added as an option on the 3.8 liter vehicles. The 1992 Trans Sport was the third model year of the minivan, with ABS as standard equipment on all of them.
