1995 Pontiac Firebird

Automobiles

The 1995 models were the same as those of previous years, but traction control, called acceleration slip regulation, was available for LT1 Firebirds, and the steering wheels were changed. The Trans Am GT trim level was dropped after 1994, all Trans Ams received 155 mile per hour speedometers and Z rated tires, and mid year a Series II 3.8 liter V6 of 200 horsepower became the Firebird's sole V6. It was the last year of any American car to use the OBD I computer system.
