The Aztek was discontinued after the 2005 model year, and was replaced by the Theta platform Pontiac Torrent. The last Pontiac Aztek rolled off the assembly line in December 2004. In Canada the Aztek had filled the gap left since the discontinuation of the Sunrunner in 1997, and the Aztek ended after five model years as a four door crossover that began with the concept shown in 1999. The final model year was 2005, the fifth of the run.
