The international Ranger is the series of Ford Ranger pickup trucks sold under that name mainly outside the Americas since 1998. The first two generations, 1998 to 2006 and 2006 to 2011, were developed jointly with Mazda and shared an assembly line and most parts with the Mazda B-Series and then the BT-50, as successors to the Ford Courier. In 2011 the name was consolidated on a single global model on the T6 platform, designed by Ford Australia, which replaced both the Mazda based Ranger and the 1998 to 2012 Ranger of North and South America. The trucks are mainly built in Rayong, Thailand and in Pretoria, South Africa, the T6 has also been sold in North America since 2019, and a fourth generation was introduced in November 2021.
