Datsun Truck

The Datsun Truck is a compact pickup truck that Nissan made in Japan from 1955 to 1997. It was originally sold under the Datsun brand and switched to the Nissan name in 1983, and in Japan it was sold only at Nissan Bluebird Store locations. The line grew out of pre-war small trucks, beginning with the Type 13 in April 1934, and continued through the post-war models, the Datsun 120 introduced in January 1955, the 620 of 1972 to 1979 and the 720. Export versions ranged from 1.6-liter gasoline four-cylinder engines to a 2.7-liter diesel, with V6 engines also available. It was replaced in 1997 by the Frontier and the Navara.
