The Anadol P2 500, also sold as the P2 600 and the Otosan 500 Pick-Up, was a light pick-up truck built by Otosan in Istanbul from 1971 to 1991. Bernar Nahum developed the first prototype on the A1 basis in 1970, and serial production began the following year with the 1.3 litre Ford Crossflow engine, later replaced by the 1.6 litre Pinto. After 1983 the 600D arrived with a 1.9 litre diesel that needed a slight bulge in the bonnet. In steady demand and used extensively by the Turkish Post, it outlasted the Anadol passenger cars, and 36,892 were built.
