The Vickers Crossley armoured car, also called the Vickers-Crossley M25, was a British-made armoured car used by the British Army in India and exported to other countries, including Japan. It had riveted and welded armour 6 mm thick, a hemispherical turret mounting twin 7.7 mm water-cooled Vickers machine guns under a domed cupola, and an engine of 50 hp that gave a top speed of 65 to 70 km/h. The Kwantung Army of the Imperial Japanese Army used the Model 25 during the Mukden Incident of 1931, the Special Naval Landing Forces used it in the Shanghai fighting of 1932, and the Manchukuo army later received some. The Argentine Regiment of Mounted Grenadiers received six two-axle Model 26 cars in 1928, and they saw action during the 1930 coup.
