The Morris Light Reconnaissance Car was a British light armoured car built by Morris Motors for the British Army in the Second World War. The Nuffield Group was brought in to add to production of the Standard Beaverette and the Humber light armoured car. Its unusual layout seated the three-man crew side by side, with the driver in the middle, one crewman working a small multi-sided turret with a Bren light machine gun on the right and another on the left with a Boys anti-tank rifle and access to the radio set. More than 2,200 were built from 1940 to 1944, serving in North Africa, Italy and northwest Europe, with some going to the RAF Regiment and Polish units.
