1956 Nash Metropolitan

Automobiles

The Series III Metropolitan began production in November 1955, so it was the car of the 1956 model year, with the larger engine, stainless sweep spears for two tone paint and a new grille. The Nash and Hudson grille medallions were believed to have been discontinued around October 1956 and replaced with an M style medallion, one step toward the Metropolitan becoming its own brand. The price of a hardtop was 1,527 dollars.
