A rationalisation of the Morris range took place in 1935 and the new Ten series II shared its body and chassis with the Morris Twelve series II, a three speed manual gearbox being fitted at first. Two tone paint schemes were also optional on the Ten Four from 1935, and two tone paintwork stayed common. The Series II followed the Ten Four and is considered the second generation of the model. It was the second generation of the Ten, following the Ten Four.
