A four speed gearbox reappeared as an option on the Morris Ten series II from 1936 and became standard from 1937, and at the end of 1936 steel disc Easiclene wheels replaced the wire ones. The Ten series II was by then sold alongside the Twelve series II, sharing its body and chassis, in a rationalised Morris range, and it had three speed gearboxes as standard when it first appeared in 1935. Two tone paintwork is common on surviving cars.
